I always struggled with weight as a teen despite having a healthy lifestyle. In college I was diagnosed with Lymes Disease and after multiple rounds of antibiotics I felt terrible and couldn't pinpoint my newfound food sensitivities. I decided to take on a plant-based lifestyle and I began to lose a few unneeded pounds and started to feel better. Right after college I got the opportunity to work and learn from a Functional Medicine doctor who inspired me to think differently about my health. With his help I was able to customize an eating regimen filled with lots of vegetables and minimal animal products right for my body. Determined to learn more about the health industry I became a Certified Health and Life coach to help inspire patients to make a lifelong commitment towards improving their health! In June of 2020 I got the opportunity to work for Nutrition World as the Office Manager/Administrative Assistant. Working alongside so many people who are as passionate about health and wellness as I am fires me up daily! When I am not working you can find me walking my dog, cooking plant-based meals for my family, whitewater kayaking, doing hot yoga, cycling outside, or teaching indoor cycling and fitness classes!
